In partnership with Hudson Valley Yelp, we hosted a Cosmic Disco at HudCo that was great inspiration for a New Year’s Eve party. HV Yelp brought together a dynamic mix of local creatives for an out-of-this-world event.
An installation by artist Amelia C. Williams transformed the Atrium into an electric, immersive backdrop for the silent disco. Guests went all in on the dress code, showing up in neon and sequins. Our neighbors at The Beauty Parlor were onsite offering hair tinsel and glitter styling, while Uniquely Yours created star- and galaxy-inspired face paint and adornments.
Throughout the night, a photobooth captured crystal-clear moments—printed on the spot or shared digitally as photo strips and GIFs. Magic Eric performed tricks that still have us guessing, while DJ Sahr curated the perfect soundtrack. World Entertainment kept the dance floor moving all night long.
The Treats
The food and libations were equally buzzworthy. Clink With Colleen crafted custom cocktails, Orchard Hill offered flight sampling, and Hudson Valley Party Carts teamed up with Newburgh Brewing for a dedicated IPA station. Sweet treats followed—from a cannoli cart to light-up cotton candy by Candi Cloud Confections. Plus, one couldn’t miss the charming setup from Apple & Jars, with cosmic brownies by Steph’s Sweets that played into the theme.
For a Cause
The evening also spotlighted the work of Guiding Eyes, helping raise both funds and awareness for the organization. With nearly 150 employees, Guiding Eyes operates out of its 10-acre Headquarters and Training Center in Yorktown Heights, its Canine Development Center in Patterson, and its Urban Training Center in White Plains.
Hours of planning go into creating a one-night experience that feels effortless. A big thank you to Marietta and the Hudson Valley Yelp team for collaborating with local vendors and shining a spotlight on the incredible talent in our area.
