Some people take a while to find their place. Jayme Heffler found hers pretty quickly.
A Dobbs Ferry native who spent years in Manhattan before returning home, Jayme is now a fixture at HudCo — and she’s the kind of person who makes a room feel warmer just by being in it. She’s Director of Product Marketing for an edtech company; and any given afternoon at HudCo, she’s the friendly face on a Zoom call, the focused presence in a corner, or the one genuinely happy to chat between meetings.
We chatted with Jayme to hear what keeps her coming back — and if you see her around, say hello. She’ll be glad you did.

Tell us a little about yourself and what you do.
I spent most of my adult life living in Manhattan and am now back in my hometown of Dobbs Ferry. I’m the Director of Product Marketing for an education technology company, and because I work remotely, HudCo has become the perfect place to focus, collaborate, and enjoy being part of the local community.
What initially brought you to HudCo?
I was looking for a professional workspace where I could get out of the house, stay productive, and create some separation between work and home. I wanted the benefits of an office without the commute into the city, and HudCo was exactly what I was looking for.
What do you typically use your membership for?
Mostly focused work, Zoom meetings, and days when I need to really concentrate. It’s become my go-to workspace.
What do you enjoy most about being at HudCo?
The atmosphere and the people who make it such a welcoming place. Andrew, Samantha, and Christy have created a space that is both professional and inviting, and it really shows in all the thoughtful details. I also love the pop-up events, they’re a great way to support local businesses while adding something fun and unexpected to the workday.
Has anything surprised you about the experience?
I was surprised by how much care goes into creating the overall experience. It’s not just a beautiful place to work, it’s clear that a lot of thought goes into making it feel welcoming, from the programming and local partnerships to the little touches that make you look forward to coming in. I came looking for a workspace, but I found a place I genuinely enjoy spending time.
