HudCo is Dobbs Ferry’s creative coworking community—and this new group of members makes it more interesting than ever. We’ve got a film director exploring eldercare and the imagined afterlife. An education equity strategist serving on a mayoral transition team. And a fashion designer who leads one-on-one creative co-creation sessions. The college access nonprofit pro who has lived on four continents. And a media production director who once sold a $10 million lotto ticket.
These professionals come from Hastings, Dobbs Ferry, Tarrytown, and beyond. They’re already loving the toasted lattes, the local barre classes, and the conversations. Pull up a chair and meet your new neighbors.

Profession: Fashion designer and educator, Kathlin Argiro (company website) @kathlinargiro (Instagram). Madeleine Jacobs
Resides in: I live in Dobbs Ferry.
Profession: I work for the Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund, a college access and success nonprofit that serves New England. Our organization has an office in Salem, MA — the Witch City. Since that would be a crazy commute, I am enjoying working from HudCo!
Favorite local businesses: My New Year’s resolution has been to get to barre3 (just up the street) for a class at least once per week. It’s such a great stress reliever and I am discovering muscles I never knew I had.
Fun fact: A fun fact about me is that I grew up in Chicago, but also lived in Sydney, Australia, for a year when I was 9. That gave me the travel bug, and I’ve now lived on 4 continents and visited all but Antarctica.

Profession: I work in media and advertising in production, and I’m currently the Director of Production at Blueprint Longevity (Here’s the company’s blog, which is a great way to learn about it.)

Fun fact: I worked at the Hastings Stationery in high school and college, and I once sold a $10 million dollar Lotto ticket.
Favorite tip for staying focused: Being as organized as you can, maintaining a system, getting things out of your head, and giving yourself grace.
Current TV show, album, book or podcast that you can’t get enough of: I love following art museums on Tiktok. My current fave is the Fenimore Art Museum in Cooperstown. They’re super weird, and I’m all for it.
What excites you most about HudCo? It’s really nice to run into people you know outside from work, but in a work setting. I think we’re so often used to running into friends and other residents only at school/village functions or social gatherings, and there’s often a lot of opacity around our jobs. I enjoy meeting people in a different setting. I get to see another side of them, and it completes the circle in a way.
