With a panoply (let that be your word of the day) of talents, these individuals enrich our collective tapestry with their unique backgrounds. So, dear reader, pour yourself a cup of Nespresso, settle into your favorite little pod or Study desk, and allow us to introduce these distinguished newcomers.

David Beckwith

Resides in: Irvington
Profession: Founder of Grand Cru Wine Consulting, a vintage wine advisory firm that helps clients with buying and selling, plus events and managing their cellars.
Favorite local business: We love Sushi Niji which is just a quick walk from HudCo. Excellent sushi and sashimi that always tastes fresh.
What excites you about HudCo? The ability to make new connections while working in a pressure-free, professional and respectable environment. Plus it’s a gorgeous space! (Ed. note: 🤭)
Fun Fact: I finally decided to pick up the guitar recently after a lifetime of enjoying music. Having a blast regardless of current skill level. Any tips are welcome!

What are you reading? I’ve been into Anthony Boudain’s books lately. I am currently reading his second book Medium Raw.
What’s a fun fact about yourself? I am first generation and am in the process of getting my Italian dual citizenship!

Resides in: I just moved to Tarrytown from Hastings. I’ve lived in the Rivertowns for the past ten years.
Profession:
I’m an author. My most recent book, What We Carry, made several “Best of” and Editors’ Lists, from the New York Times and Amazon to “Good Morning America” and PopSugar. I also currently serve as President of the Authors Guild, the nation’s oldest and largest collective of writers. I’m on FB and Instagram where my dog, Miso, is the secret star

Favorite local businesses: I love Bakehouse of Tarrytown, tucked away in the train station. I also love Boro6 and Goosefeather.
What are you reading? I’ve been raving to people about In Memoriam, a gorgeously written, enthralling novel with unforgettable characters.
Fun fact: I’m a passionate weightlifter and can deadlift 315lbs.
Anything else? I love HudCo and feel so grateful for this wonderful community. Writing is deeply solitary. It’s also a little crazy making. Coming to this beautiful space each day has made an enormous difference, not only in my productivity, but also in how I feel.
