Her impressive culinary journey began early, she opened her first restaurant at just 20 years old in Pétion-Ville, Haiti. Michelle expanded her expertise by studying Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts at Rockland Community College and further honed her skills at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America.As a proud Black business owner, Michelle Timothee celebrates a number of meaningful accomplishments. She won the 2017 Ramsey Farmers Market Chef Competition, was featured in Hudson Valley Magazine and on the cover of Rivertown Magazine, and earned second place in the Favorite Chef Competition presented by Carla Hall in support of the James Beard Foundation.
