Clare Maloney & The Great Adventure
listen: https://bio.site/claremaloney
Tarrytown’s Clare Maloney is one of the most distinctive, powerful and emotive voices in rock & roll today. The internationally renowned singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has shared the stage with members of The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Starship, Allman Brothers Band, Hall & Oates, Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band and more.
Before transitioning to rock and roll full-time, Clare trained extensively and toured as an opera singer, appearing multiple times at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Town Hall, Symphony Space, 92ndY, National Sawdust and at concert halls throughout Europe and Asia.
Hailed by Relix magazine as an “Artist You Need to Know,” her electric rock outfit, Clare Maloney & The Great Adventure, has been bringing their joyous mix of good vibes and great tunes to audiences across the US since 2021. The band released their debut album “Daybreaker” to rave reviews in December 2022, and the album title stands as a sly ode to Maloney’s decade-long battle with writer’s block, and triumph over it; night gives way to day, just as the multi-instrumentalist broke through in 2021 to write over 100 songs, flawlessly blending rock, alt-country, americana, folk, funk, the great american songbook and more. The band features Nate DeBrine on guitar & vocals, Russ Gottlieb on bass & electric banjo, and Caleb Estey on drums & vocals. Together they have played over 250+ shows across the US in their short time together, and the band has opened for Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Los Lobos, The Bacon Brothers, The Wailers, Bailen, and Donna the Buffalo. In addition, they have played pre-shows for Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Phil Lesh & Friends and Aimee Mann, and their 2023 “Daybreaker” tour included sit ins from members of Goose. Their new album “Flood, Fire & Honey” is due out in summer 2025.
