Profession: I’m a sociology professor at Mercy College. I recently launched a consulting and coaching business, marrying my sociology expertise with my experience as a performing artist to help individuals and organizations bring their creative project ideas to fruition. Favorite local business: My husband and I drive up to Ossining about once every two weeks to go to First Village Coffee—so I was really excited to see them featured at HudCo. I also love R Cafe in New Rochelle. It’s all about the coffee shops!
Favorite tip for staying focused? I’m a sometimes fan of the Pomodoro Method—25 minutes on, five minutes off—which is why you’ll see me wandering around the space intermittently.
Fun fact about yourself: I was a professional salsa dancer for years, and I won three World Championships with my team, Huracán Dance Company.
