When your occupation involves physically touching your clients through massage, applying needles, or manual therapy, there’s very limited work-from-home options for your practice. HudCo is home to physical therapists, acupuncturists, aestheticians, and mental health practitioners who are struggling to navigate the coronavirus crisis.
Our staff has pulled together this list of resources aimed to help you function, if possible, in new and different formats during this time.

Working using Zoom
The whole world is quickly catching up with learning how to use teleconference software. The most widely used software appears to be Zoom (which we use here at HudCo). This is a good solution for talk therapy, physical therapy that can be done through direction and guidance, and many types of assessments.
Here’s a training to get familiar with Zoom.
Here’s information about Zoom and HIPAA Compliance.
Zoom has a Paypal integration via Zapier (although this is not HIPAA compliant), patients/clients can pay with Paypal or credit card.
And once you get situated in Zoom, feel free to download HudCo photos of the wellness rooms to use as your virtual backgrounds. Directions for using faux backgrounds here.
